Reciprocating

Since Blue was born, we have been reached out to in many ways that we truly appreciate. The thing that I am beginning to realize is that there is no way that we are going to be able to reciprocate all the favors.

The other thing I am realizing is that this failure to reciprocate is becoming a problem with some people.

They think that it isn't fair.

And no, life isn't fair.

Home again

Just a quick note to say that Little Boy Blue is HOME again as of yesterday. We needed to take the oxygen home with us to be safe at night. I am hoping to be off of that and return all this stuff within a week, but we will see.

You should have seen how ridiculously happy he was all day. Smiles and incessant laughing all day long as he noticed every familiar detail of HOME!

Home is happier for us too as we hear his sounds around us. I felt an empty feeling when I was home looking at his crib and toys not being used.

We also need to add a hematologist to our repertoire of specialists. I am hoping there are no new chronic conditions, but it is always better to know that not to.

Hospital Again

Little Boy Blue is back in the hospital. He's got pneumonia OR something like it along with a couple other things that could be separate conditions or caused by his general sickness. He is doing fine but not improving yet. Not sure what is going on, test results are always a bit scary.

A conversation

Certain Little boy: We should have a fire sometime.

Mommy: We don't have a fireplace.

CLB: We could make one outside with sticks and leaves.

Mommy: I'm not sure if we are allowed to have that kind. (thinking of city ordinances).

CLB: Isn't this a free country?

Mommy: Yes.

Mommy: HAHAHAHA.
